Report on Tree Plantation Activity with Poster Making

As part of its continued efforts toward environmental awareness and sustainability, Alice Degree College of Arts and Commerce organized a Tree Plantation Activity along with a Poster Making Competition on 7th August 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, under the guidance of our respected Principal Dr. Shweta Choudhari.
The event began with a brief inaugural speech by Dr. Choudhari, who emphasized the importance of planting trees to combat climate change and promote a greener future. Students, faculty members, and volunteers actively participated in planting saplings around the college campus. Over 20 saplings were planted, including neem, mango, Jambu and flowering plants.
Simultaneously, a Poster Making Competition was conducted on the theme “Plant Trees, Save Earth.” Students showcased their creativity and awareness through vibrant posters that highlighted the significance of environmental conservation, tree plantation, and the harmful effects of deforestation.
The event concluded with a short address appreciating the enthusiasm of the participants and encouraging everyone to take regular initiatives to protect the environment.
The event was a great success and reflected the college’s commitment to promoting ecological values and social responsibility among students.
