Objective of the Activity
The Tobacco-Free Youth Campaign was organized with the objective of creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of tobacco consumption and motivating youth to adopt a healthy, tobacco-free lifestyle.
Successfully conducted a Tobacco-Free Youth Campaign on 17th December 2025. As part of the campaign, Poster Making and Slogan Writing competitions were organized for students.
The activity began at 10:30 a.m. under the guidance of Prof. Pooja More. Students actively participated and expressed their creativity through impactful posters and meaningful slogans highlighting the dangers of tobacco use, such as cancer, addiction, and other health issues.
The event encouraged students to think critically about social responsibility and public health. The posters and slogans displayed strong messages promoting a tobacco-free society and inspired awareness among peers.
Outcome of the Activity
- Students gained awareness about the ill effects of tobacco.
- Creativity and social responsibility among students were enhanced.
- The campaign successfully conveyed the message of a healthy and tobacco-free life.
The Tobacco-Free Youth Campaign was successfully conducted with enthusiastic participation from students. The poster making and slogan writing activities proved effective in spreading awareness and reinforcing the importance of saying “No to Tobacco.” The event concluded at 12:30 p.m. with appreciation for all participants.
